Imperfect but works

There aren't many choices in this display category, so I wish there were other choices in its design; If I want to have all my compulsory subjects, I will have to live with disappointments. 1) The screen does not save your brightness, color, sharpness, contrast, HDR "on", volume. etc. (Seriously, Magedok, couldn't you enable the "Custom save" profile?) So you'll have to reinstall them every time you turn on the display. Most annoyingly, the default brightness setting is around 30%, which can be difficult to see in anything other than a dark room. Leading to issue #2.2) The menu buttons are located behind the display in the center, which is difficult to reach. and is non-intuitive as the "Enter" and "Cancel" buttons are next to each other, followed by the navigation. So you have to constantly fumble with your hand behind the screen to switch between navigating the menu and entering the settings. It would be great if they placed the menu buttons on the edge of the display. 3) View status and error messages are shown in 8pt red text over a gray rectangle, making them confusing. I'm not that young man anymore, I still have 20/20 distance vision but now I need reading glasses for a bit of work. Even with my glasses on, I have no idea what these messages are warning me about as I can't decipher any of the letters. 4) (Really minor - minor problem). Purchase a MiniDP cable separately. This is more of a $10 annoyance than a major complaint, but it would have been nice to include this somewhat unusual cable in the box. Worth mentioning the pro list: * Including miniDP! *Cable ports are deep behind the display (making cable management much cleaner).*Nice stand with a thoughtful design.*The display is very, very thin.*1440p is the best place for small portable displays for video editing there is really no competition.*HDMI is a full-size port[EDIT: grammar and spelling corrections]
