Review on 🧇 Presto 03510 FlipSide Belgian Waffle Maker with Ceramic Coating, Black by Collin Donahue

Before I start my review, let me say that I've been making waffles since I was a little boy over 60 years ago. During this time I have used several different waffle irons in different designs and materials. including a longtime favorite of mine (heavy Toastmaster heirloom from the 1960's that finally succumbed to a power failure about 10 years ago). In my post-Toastmaster era, I bought several waffle makers, but none of them could match my Toastmaster in terms of consistent heat control, even cooking, and quality of materials, that is, until I bought this Presto #3510 I used Presto, it produced golden brown waffles (pictured above left) which looked good but required some tweaks to the recipe (a little more vegetable oil and milk in the batter) to achieve a crispier crust. while keeping the chewy inner texture that I prefer (see image above right). In addition to consistently perfect waffles, the waffle diameter is perfect for a medium-sized plate, and the deep web retains the perfect complementary proportions of oil and syrup for an all-round satisfying portion. Perhaps one of the most practical features of this Presto is the durability of the ceramic grids and the fact that they are easy to clean with a damp cloth after they have cooled. And best of all, no more messy spills as the well-designed container on the outer rim catches excess batter as it spills! Although I only bought my Presto a few months ago, its reliable performance has already brought me great joy and promises to deliver quality for many more years to come than I have experienced with my prized Toastmaster.
