The masks fit both my 6 year old and my 9 year old's face. I had to tie small knots at the ends of the loops to make the fit "closer" for my 6 year old, but both children said the mask was comfortable and they felt comfortable in it all day at school. The design keeps the mask away from their mouth when inhaling and exhaling (which is what cloth masks do), but closes it under their chin and can be shaped to fit their tiny noses for less clearance. Of course, no mask is perfect as children's faces vary in size at this age, but I would buy these masks again.
