Review on πŸŽ™οΈ Olympus DS-7000 Digital Voice Recorder Review: Exploring Features and Performance of the DS7000 Model by Mike Carter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It is comfortable to hold and most importantly it has a rocker.

If you're looking for the "REAL" digital voice recorder, look no further. It feels comfortable in the hand and most importantly it has a rocker button to control the recording and viewing functions as was the case with the original voice recorders. It's expensive, you can get cheaper models if you just need a digital voice recorder, but if you want to dictate this is the best I've found after a long search. The included software is very easy to use. You install the recorder in the supplied bracket and it appears in the software. Several transmission paths to your secretary, central word processing or e-mail. And yes, it works with Mac. There are some features of the included software that are clearly not available in the Mac version, but we didn't miss them, whatever they are! I dictate on the go, at home, etc. I just email the file to my secretary and voila! The included leather case ensures your investment is securely protected in a briefcase. While storage expands, internal storage will suffice unless you're dictating an entire book in one go.
