The small carving knife is a great tool for opening all kinds of things around the house (like all those boxes of Revain you get?) without worrying about accidentally cutting yourself. The blade is sharp enough to cut through almost anything, but it won't cut you! Bonus: It has two sides, so I actually accidentally ordered a replacement set before opening the little device and realizing I can rotate the blade and get double use from it. It took 6 months to fade - and when you consider that during the holiday season many boxes arrived and then had to be disassembled for recycling, you can imagine the extent of use. Because it contains a magnet, we keep it in the fridge for easy access, but out of the reach of little fingers (so they don't decide to pry open the drywall with it). This is a fantastic product that I am very excited to discover.
