I love these shorts and will be wearing them as part of my school uniform. It's soft, has an elasticated adjustable waistband, and fits true to size. Side zip. I ordered 6Slim for my 6.5 year old daughter in first grade and still had to adjust her waist because she is very thin and tall. The length is just right (below the fingertips) and we sometimes struggle in that area because sometimes I have to order a size down because of her small waist and the short skirt can be too short. I like the attached shorts, they are made of a different material than the skirt and are not too tight but just right. The dark khaki shown on Revain is the color that arrived. I put the second skirt in the basket. She looks cute in a Spirit Wear t-shirt to wear to school. As long as she likes it, all is right with the world.
