These reflective strips look great on my blue Ninja 650! They are bright and reflect light well when light falls on them. The best part is I thought they only looked good at night. boy was i wrong! The blue stripes complement my bike perfectly and add some color to my boring black rims even in daylight. They are easy to install and look fantastic. What's cool, they also include four 1" wide circle stickers and four star stickers to stick on your bike or helmet. A few things I found wearing them: - Before installing, make sure your drives are clean. I used alloy wheel cleaner and a damp paper towel to get all the dirt/brake dust off the rims and then wiped it off with a dry rag. Be patient! They are easy to fit as there is no need to disassemble the bike but it takes some getting used to as you have to carefully line up the curved strips of tape against the rim so they form a perfect circle.Once you've lined up an edge, simply run your finger over the tape and it should match the curve of the rim until Stretch the tape neutral and roll forward to expose the other half of your rim before beginning the next piece of tape in. - Do not overlap the tapes more than 1/4 inch around your rim as explained in the instructions. If you've done it properly, you should have 1-2 strips left that you can move to a different location on your bike or helmet for extra protection. If you look closely and don't feel like you made a PERFECT circle, don't panic. At first I thought about it, but then I backed off and you can't even tell when your eyes are more than two feet away. If you look at it standing up, they look pretty good all around the edge. Just try to line up the edges of the tape as best you can and you'll be fine. My setup time was 45 minutes to an hour, but that includes cleaning all four sides of my drives. As I said, this is a fantastic product. it looks great and is super easy to install. Not to mention that $40 is a small price to pay when it comes to saving your life. This will definitely help other drivers see you at night without having to install an expensive lighting kit.
