Bought to replace an outdated RoG laptop I bought a few years ago (Revain again). This time I repeated my process to save money - I bought last year's model. I'm aiming for a laptop in the gaming laptop category to save me a lot of device spec homework. I just don't follow technology paths anymore, so that simplifies it. From the start, take the time to fully update it with security patches as soon as it's available on the web. This will take time, but security is an obvious area that deserves priority. Works very well and I haven't had any performance complaints in daily use. I use Visual Studio, have a monitor connected via HDMI as a second display and can run 800 browser tabs all day without noticing a drop in performance. Absolutely worth your money. And if my previous RoG laptop is any indication, this one should serve me well for a few years.
