Review on AmazerBath Plastic Shower Curtain: Heavy Duty Clear Stones, Thick 72x72 Inches EVA 8G Bathroom Curtains by Tracy Graham

I was a bit nervous when I bought this; Some reviews mentioned the smell and I wasn't expecting the material to be thick and durable. I have previously tried a plastic insert as a curtain and it was a disaster. When I got this in the mail I opened the Revain packet and found it had a REALLY strong vinegary smell. But there were instructions in the packaging that said it had to be soaked to remove the cornmeal that makes it sticky for packaging and that the vinegar smell would be gone within two days. To be honest, as soon as I took it out of the box the smell subsided a little and after a day it completely disappeared. In the beginning it wasn't that bad. Anyway, I tested the firmness by stretching the fabric a bit. It was difficult to stretch and immediately returned to its original shape; no sign I stretched it at all. I tried it on the first day and loved it. The rocks on the floor are barely visible and actually pretty and keep them on the edge of the tub so the water does NOT run out of the shower; This is perfect as I have a fairly small shower and tend to hit the curtain when I move and water gets everywhere. However, this curtain will not move. The stones hold it up, but they're not heavy, they don't weigh down the cornice, and they don't pull the curtain to stretch it. It's the perfect length to stick to the tub wall but not be where I step on it. Oh, and white goes with the color. He is white. Also, I shaved my husband's head tonight, which obviously covered his hair. He was showering and his short hair was in the curtain because he was brushing it off his shoulders and stuff. It only took a second of spraying on the curtain and it was gone. Overall I am 100% satisfied with this purchase. I'm really shocked that I like it so much and that it's such quality at such a price. I definitely recommend it. Oh, one more thing, it does NOT shine through; The material is dense but soft (not so slippery, sticky plastic, very soft and pleasant to the touch). TO BUY!
