Review on 68 Ounce Glass Pitcher with Lid - Heat-Resistant Water Jug for Hot/Cold Water, Ice Tea, and Juice Beverages by William Bell

Beautiful and functional

I love these glasses. My family drinks a lot of iced tea. It takes me 14 minutes from start to finish to brew an invigorating, pure iced tea using my custom little brewing technique. I know some others have raised issues with these pitchers in the past, but I saw a statement from the company somewhere that they took note of the complaints and issues and resolved them. That must be true, because I had no problems. They're thin, lightweight borosilicate glass with a nice tight-fitting lid (not leak proof). They are absolutely heat resistant. I pour boiling water straight from the kettle into the pot. Easy to clean and maintain, they come with a large, long-handled sponge to make cleaning easier. They have a good wide opening for cleaning and a handy pouring handle. After using the first pitcher for a while I was so happy I bought another one for lemonade and boiled lemon water. They are so beautiful and look amazing right on the table. I don't use them directly on the stovetop or any other heat source. I admit that I'm careful with them. I hold them by my body and do not put them in the sink with other dishes, do not knock them against the sink, and do not knock them against other dishes. I wash and process them separately, drying them immediately and preparing them for the next batch of tea. They are in use almost all the time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
