Update: After some time of use it starts to scratch. I bought some detergent balls and will try them to see if the scarf gets softer. My skin was also becoming more sensitive, but by that point it had started to itch. Definitely a must for sensitive skin. I like the way it looks so I might have to knit it from a different material that is skin friendly. (Take one star off for itching.) Previous review: I love this knotted sweater-like scarf! Got a good lighting deal so I did it with no regrets. It's so big and comfy for my tiny (short and tiny) neck. I fold it in half, puff it up, and sometimes lay my neck side to side on it. Sometimes I just tug on it, spreading it out to warm my neck and upper chest; When it rains I use the loose end as a hood. Yes! Love it. It also comes in white, but I prefer grey. What I don't like is that it's acrylic which can scratch my hyper sensitive skin a bit. But this is a softer acrylic. I urge the company to consider cotton or other natural fabrics for people with very sensitive skin (like dermatography, chronic urticaria, rosacea, eczema... yes, I have it all). Risk acrylic and hope big from it. I would return it if it was worse but it's very comfortable and goes with everything. What you need to know about me from this review: I am very small with a narrow neck. My neck is definitely less than 5 inches tall, maybe a little over 3 inches long. I have super sensitive skin, also to different types of fabrics. (Not the most sensitive skin in the world as it rarely removes itself, but is more delicate than most people with sensitive skin. I have two rare skin conditions that exaggerate my skin's sensitivity.) Otherwise, it's almost perfect for someone my size, and might work for someone slightly taller. I'm also slightly overweight. I suppose this will work for those with short necks up to 5ft 5in to use in all ways I do. It's plenty for those with long necks and those who are taller, but you probably couldn't spread it across your upper chest or have nearly as much extra fabric. You can stretch it if you feel it needs more length. I washed it maybe once or twice on high heat. It hasn't shrunk much, I've found: it's still very large.
