UPDATE: 3 years later still fine. Doors are a little cracked but still hold up. Even if the flaps fail , are the channels deep enough I would probably just keep using them.I have a 30A 3/4" RV cable and a thick 1" heavy duty hose for my chopper that goes through some of where my RV is hooked up in front of my house so I can get in and out of the garage. The channels are quite wide and deep and they seem strong enough. Better to hang everything out for a mile. I have the smell that others have mentioned, didn't really notice but mine is out there like a tire shop when you first take them out of the box.
