Review on πŸ’… iFancer 48W Rechargeable UV LED Nail Lamp: Portable Fast-drying Professional Nail Dryer Machine by Gillian Ahn

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great portable nail light (see details). Highly recommended

The iFancer 48W Rechargeable UV LED Nail is not my first exposure (ha) to UV nail dryers/curing machines. iFancer is pretty typical for LED based devices. The device is very light. A relatively unique feature is the built-in lithium battery, which allows the lamp to be operated without an outlet. While it's probably not what you need in a nail salon, it's great for at-home nail care. The timer and brightness controls are easy to use, and the multi-segment timer LED is easy to see from a distance. Unlike some flashlights, the iFancer has a base plate, which is a nice safety feature (sometimes people place their rig on a reflective surface like a glass tabletop). From a safety point of view, it would be nice if there was a more comprehensive housing. Aside from these clues, the light worked well on several processes. The sensor that detects a hand going through the shroud works pretty well. The only aesthetic thing I don't like are the LEDs that show the remaining battery life. They are big and bright and they are on all the time while the light is on. It's a bit annoying, but there's no good reason why you need this information all the time - I'd rather have a "Status" button or something. My last comment is technical. iFancer is advertised as 48W. iFancer does not draw about 48 watts. This is fairly common with ALL manufacturers' nail lamps, but it's nice to know that the iFancer's output is probably comparable to 48W CCFL but isn't listed anywhere. So the iFancer works pretty much like a wired nail lamp, but it does it wirelessly (which is awesome!). If you need portability, this is highly recommended.
