I went online specifically to buy a counter light saw this rechargeable one and was hopeful so I bought three. Every time I step into the kitchen, I'm pleasantly reminded that I don't have to turn on the overhead lights or the hood. The effect of the motion sensor has been reliable so far (one week) and can also be permanent. Workmanship: Although it comes with a small screw and a square of adhesive, I used a strong velcro to attach the magnet to the case to make it very secure. I also have one in a dark closet and still choose the third. Good buy. UPDATE: November 24, 2021 Just bought another one! All three of my current ones feel great, charge well and work every time. love love love
