These regular offset tapes are great for the music in my portable cassette player. This is an old Sanyo player from 1985 without special tape switches (CrO2/Metal). Music sounds clear and bright with very little noise. I record cassettes old school style, recording from vinyl through a receiver onto a two-cassette Onkyo deck. Ribbon Type Plain; Noise Reduction OFF The meter records peak levels that dance right at 0 dB. Perfect every time.
