I first bought a pair of white 847v2s a few years ago because my podiatrist recommended them for overpronation and diabetic neuropathy. I later bought a pair of gray v3 shoes along with New Balance orthotics. I've added a black pair that I rotate throughout the week. This particular style gives me the support and comfort I was looking for as a diabetic. I wear them every day, use them for training and have no complaints about the fit or comfort. I expect to continue replacing them with the same style as they wear out. I have other types of New Balance diabetic shoes but these fit me best. If you need to try before you buy, visiting a New Balance store can help. Revane was the only seller able to deliver the goods overnight; It took me 3-6 weeks in stores and/or on the New Balance website to receive 13EE. The price was the same no matter what. And for what it's worth, this style is Medicare eligible for reimbursement (Medicare/HPCCS code = A5500 plus for me).
