Good quality inserts are thick
These inserts are significantly thicker than the competition (I've bought both). It's great for me and they should last longer. I use them as stainless steel cup holder inserts on my couch. They fit perfectly. They protect cup holders from scratches. The only downside is that when inserted they will not allow a regular sized wine glass to be placed in the holder. In our case we simply use smaller glasses. Overall a great solution for my needs.
