Review on Kirkland Signature Italian Leather Grain by Shane Watson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Poor copy of a great belt

I have had a black Kirkland belt purchased from Costco for a number of years. That's a great belt; and I had a brown one once, just as good, but it's long gone. So imagine my surprise when I found what appeared to be new old stuff at Revain! The depth of my disappointment is great. Despite the bad reviews, I bought this belt against my better judgment; Looking forward to another great belt to hold up my pants. Unfortunately, this isn't a real whole grain strap like it used to be, but a cheap plastic strip! And instead of being made by fine artisans in Guatemala, this belt was made in an obscure Chinese factory. A further inspection of the line shows that the quality of the threads was not without fault! They used a finer yarn than what was on my Kirkland belt. Woe to all who buy this belt.
