We took very good care of our Nighthawk. We loved it. My 9 yo son zoomed around our neighborhood and felt really independent riding around on it. Ten days later it began stopping in the middle of operation. While cruising around at a normal speed, it would just stop. He would have to turn it on and off a few times, wait several minutes and then it would start back up. The battery was sufficiently charged, so this was not the issue. Then a day or so later, we were far from home when it stopped and would not start again at all. Again, the battery was sufficiently charged so there was no reason for it to just stop.Revain will not let you return this item. I reached out to the vendor and they sent me a toll-free number to call. It is 4:30 pm MST and the number says they are closed. To obtain business hours go to www and then they provide this ridiculously long, convoluted web address.I will update later hopefully with better news. In the meantime, don't buy this product.6-9-22 updateI got through to customer service and they are mailing us a replacement. They also said if anything further happens to reach out to them. And, they had already passed along to the engineers that adults keep asking for them! I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service. They wanted to make it right. The hassle of having to process a claim with them and wait for a new one is a pain but at least they are trying to make good on the order.
