This is a review from a motorcyclist using this product under a DOT/EU approved Nolan N44 helmet: After purchasing this product, GearTOP emailed me every week to check this skullcap. Having used this skull cap on a 1,500 mile trip and a separate 2,500 mile trip this summer, here are my thoughts: As you can see in the attached photo, the stitches on the GearTOP skull cap are much thicker than that on the competitor's skullcap. Thick seams don't work well with a properly fitting motorcycle helmet that needs to be snug. The stitching of this skullcap around my ears irritated the sensitive skin on my earlobes to the point that the skullcap became uncomfortable after an hour. In my opinion, GearTOP's seams are too thick for use under a motorcycle helmet. The GearTOP Skullcap is made from a cozy plush material and dries quickly after being washed in a motel sink. It also wicks sweat well which was good as my travels in August were on the east coast!
