I made the frame for the canopy out of PVC pipe and mounted it on top. the sides continued and the canopy above it. I also have mesh in it. The print is only on one side, it wouldn't be as nice without the mesh inside. I pinned the top to the curtains to be safe, but you don't have to. I have the same print on the bedspread. He had two brushes, but I added nicer ones. Also had to pull back the straps if you don't want the sides to hang straight down. I love it. it is very colourful. It's fairly transparent so it doesn't block all the light, instead it dims it.
