The battery stopped working after less than 2 months.

Easy to install but stopped working after 2 months. After all the troubleshooting, it comes down to the battery, which is said to be no good. I will write to Avantec asking for a replacement as it claims a 3 year battery life. Update*: I didn't complain and just bought a new battery and that was the problem. Since I replaced the battery, there have been no more problems. I'm still disappointed that I had to do this so early, but not sure if it's the fault of the seller or Avantek.
