Update: I managed to glue them very well with this product: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TWGRM1FI No notes left (yet). and reviewers say it doesn't work. It takes a lot of effort to remove them, but they come off very cleanly. -- First Review: These pads are of very high quality and the shape and material are very nice. I was thrilled when I received them and the beautifully crafted carry clip is a thoughtful addition that suits them perfectly. BUT the fatal flaw is that they don't stick to the laptop at all! I've used Grifiti laptop wrist rests in the past, they don't have adhesive either, but they stick very well as long as both surfaces are clean. With these pads, however, they almost don't stick. Even when my laptop is flat and clean, the slightest bump from any direction other than straight down will cause them to slip. And if the laptop isn't level, they're completely useless. I wanted so badly to like them and they seem to be a high quality product in terms of production and design but they don't hold up well enough. I don't need glue, but I want them to at least hold as well as Grifiti. I wish I could figure out how to make them last better because they have a great shape and are exactly what I want! As long as they stay. :(
