They slide a bit and of course need to be moved every time you close your laptop. But they reduce the pressure on the heels of your hands. They don't raise the wrists much, but they do help a little to create a more natural position. They breathe well with a fabric covering and the foam seems to absorb well and distributes weight well over the curve of your arm.

They work very well. I work a lot on my commute and this has made my rail job a lot more bearable. I wouldn't buy these unless you plan to use them on a flat surface as they are not designed to be glued. I still give them 5 out of 5 because they are very comfortable and have made my life easier. The added clip is also very smooth and feels comfortable.

Definitely the right choice. I work from home daily and find it difficult to be comfortable with my wrists resting on the edge of my laptop or on a table. These wave pads are very comfortable, especially when typing on an external keyboard, as well as when using a mouse. I use one for the left keyboard and one under the right wrist for the mouse.
