Review on Canon EOS 600D Kit EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II, black by Adam Kaniuk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

The 600 is not in vain the most popular digital SLR in the history of their production. There is simply no camera with such a price / quality ratio today. Ofcomurse, like any DSLR, it requires: a) serious investments in lenses, external flash, filters, etc. , and b) sufficient knowledge to shoot in RAW in M, Av and Tv modes. If you are going to shoot with a whale, in JPEG and in auto mode, you will get a big bulky inconvenient soap dish. Separately, I note the very high quality of video with huge creative possibilities (again, with serious investments in equipment and relevant work skills), in this parameter Canonscompete with professional camerascomsting ten or twelve 600 carcasses. If you're serious about photography, have a brain, eyes, and hands growing out of nowhere, and you're ready to invest in optics, flash, filters, etc. - Canon 600D is the best choice for the first DSLR with further growth. If there is no desire to fork out additionally, master the technique of shooting and grow, it is better to look towards soapboxes or mirrorless cameras, it willcome out cheaper and there will be less disappointment. Sample photos taken with Canon 600D (Tamron 17-50 f2.8 lens):

Pros
  • Excellent matrix, the same as on older crops (60D, 7D). Working ISO up to 1600, excellent detail, very beautiful picture (on good glasses). Reliable, hardy, unpretentious. The grip is more comfortable than on Nikon 5100 - 5200. High quality video.
Cons
  • Not the fastest and most accurate autofocus. Weak battery.
