I like the look of my 03 1500HD. I painted the silver white to match my truck. I hooked up blue LED lights to my reverse gear so these lights come on when I reverse or open the doors. The heater inside works on the mirrors. I added an extra nut at the top that you tighten to attach it to the door to make it look like the picture above. But there is a small gap visible on the outside so I just used caulk to coat the inside and it works great in the snow and rain! Cons: The yellow warning light doesn't come on no matter how you wire it. You have to buy a special cable set, which is $100 online (there's a YouTube video about it). When I reversed, the mirrors moved, but not backwards. After a while it stopped moving on its own (which is great since I had to constantly adjust it).
