Outdoor use: GOOD Indoor use: Poor

I really want to give it 3 1/2 stars. This camera is worth the money. However, if you're left-handed like me, keeping your arm straight while holding it with your right hand takes practice. The quality of the film is above average. Shooting in high resolution looks great, but takes up a lot of space on your card. Recordings in other formats are suitable for occasional recordings. Indoor shots without proper lighting can be a challenge. This camera needs LOTS of light to make the image look clean and sharp. The more light, the better the picture looks. Shooting outdoors during the day is good. The supplied software is not user-friendly. I wish they could handle it better. You can invest in an external hard drive. Also, to shoot a lot of movies, I recommend 4GB of flash memory or more. Especially for HD recordings. 4GB is more than enough for normal recordings. But you didn't buy it for regular recordings. They bought it 1- because of its size 2- HD recording. or the other way around. Aside from the limitations of shooting in low or low light, this camera is great for those special moments at the zoo, on vacation, and anywhere else. Step indoors and you'll notice a certain graininess, even in high resolution. Another thing that may or may not bother. When I opened the package and read the "Important Information" section of the brochure, I read something about "...certain camera footage has been known to cause cancer in the State of California". or something like that. It's in capital letters. "WASH HANDS after handling" Great. it's just great.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Has problems
