Worked great for a few months! Was the perfect night light for reading books and my 3 year old loves to play with it. She generally enjoys playing with flashlights and with this one I didn't have to worry about her staring straight into a blindingly bright light, blinding her little sister or wasting batteries as it is rechargeable. However, I bought these and we have been using them for about 7 months. Then it completely stopped working and wouldn't charge or anything. I took it apart to find the culprit, which turned out to be a protection circuit on the battery. I soldered the connector wires to the metal strips connected to the positive and negative ends of the battery to bypass the protection circuit and it works again. Don't worry this was more of an experiment than anything as now it's at risk of over charging and under voltage and I won't be keeping it next to my daughter's bed anymore. All in all for $15 this works great they just need a better battery as I've read other reviews of people having the same issue. I would spend $20 if that meant a better battery.
