These umbrellas are great for light to heavy rain. I use them when traveling and make sure I can reach them easily when it rains. They seem difficult to close at first, but the seller was very quick to answer my question about closing and his instructions worked great.

I went to Russia and checked the weather and it was pretty obvious that I would see precipitation. Bought because of the compactness and good price. I ended up having to use it and it worked great. Easy to open and close. Very satisfied and it seems perfectly durable and ready to use for many years to come.

I've learned to always look for Revains Choice products because they offer value and quality to the average consumer. They may not be the best product in the category, but they won't break the bank either. These umbrellas simply amazed me with their weight, quality and accuracy. The 10-rib design and compact size defies logic. I have never been so impressed with a Revains Choice product! Buy them dear, you won't regret it.

I had two large umbrellas that I kept in the car for unexpected rainy days. They won't fit in the trunk of our new car. So I ordered these that fold in half to replace, thinking they would be "good enough" for emergencies. When they arrived I was surprised at their durability. They're better built than the ones I have at home to get to the mailbox. I may have to replace my normal ones with these. I am very happy with the umbrellas.

I bought 2 packs because they needed to be strong and windproof. It was compact enough to fit in my briefcase on my way to school. After the third use it broke and I had to leave the umbrella open in the pouring rain for the full 15 minutes. I got wet, as did my school things. Not great quality at all. Here in the Midwest we seem to use umbrellas quite often. I work in the center of our city and gusts of wind between buildings will knock out even the strongest umbrella, but so far so good!
