Review on 💨 MagnaFlow 11226 Performance Muffler: Straight-Through, 2.5in Inlet/Outlet, Satin Finish - Classic Deep Exhaust Sound by Pete Deutsch

Someone at work recommended this muffler after looking at all the Dynomax options and I'm so glad I went with this one. If you're just looking for sound then Dynomax mufflers will likely offer a wider range of tones, but if you're looking for performance then simple physics will tell you this is the way to go. If you look at one end of the muffler you will see daylight coming from the other end. It's essentially a slight S-bend in the tube to give it an offset and a perforation, making it as close as possible to a straight, open tube design. The amazing thing is that it's still soothing. I've been running my Truck Open Pipes (V6 Tacoma 2004) for a few days and as long as I haven't hit the gas I've gotten away with it. I liked the sound, but you couldn't let it go, and it was too loud in the cockpit on the Autobahn. Once the muffler was installed, you could tell that it sounded better than stock when idling and definitely not stock when overtaking. Sometimes when I'm leaving the parking lot at work to go home, I'll try to press the gas pedal really fast to see if I can get it to bark and turn on some alarms, but it works well enough , I can't make it so loud. .I love this muffler and will definitely get another one when the time comes for another car.
