I wear them around the house. Very convenient. Like any sweat-like material, if you put a heavy phone in your pocket, it will beat your leg to death when you go for a walk. So I don't do it. I wear 33 in Levi's and 32 in Target jeans. I bought a big one. When I received them, they felt free. I washed them. They have shrunk. Not many, but they're getting smaller. My washed (cold washed) ones are a little tight now, but not tight. I think XL would be too big so I'm fine. I would say they run about half a size smaller.
