Review on πŸ—„οΈ Maximize Storage Space with Prepac Large Four-Sided Spinning Tower Storage Cabinet in Espresso by Adam Browning

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A premium RTA media storage solution.

I have over 3,000 CDs that have been sitting in boxes for years. Wanted to get Can-Am drawers, but they're expensive and heavy. Ordered one of these to see how it would perform and ended up buying 3 more units. Bought a metal spinner as recommended by others. Chipboard blocks with veneer. Arrived well packaged with no damage. Uses typical RTA equipment and processes. The instructions could be better, but you will find out for yourself. I worked in a furniture store for a few years, so I bring that perspective. Here are some possible helpful tips: - When attaching the first four large panels, make sure Make sure the top edges are level and hold the panels while you drive in the screws. - Between steps 4 and 5 attach the 4th plate to the 1st which will receive the first four confirmation screws. Since the block is very heavy, I added 4 more "tacks" to the inside of the base (see photo). They weren't quite the same as the ones that came with the unit so I had to dot cut and drill pilot holes for mounting. The instructions didn't say where to put the included pads, so I made 1.5" from the sides at each corner. Be careful with everything, don't use force, and don't over-tighten the screws .If you are using a metal spinner you will need a shovel, to drill a hole in the base before attaching the spinner to access the holes to attach the top of the spinner to the bottom of the cabinet. as others have mentioned. My devices are on carpet, so furniture glides came along. handy when placing units.
