Pack rats were building a house in my large outdoor gas grill and I smelled a leak. There are too many correct spots interfering with the use of bladder leak detectors. That's why I bought this device. I needed several displays: a digital display to see the actual concentration being measured, a vibrator and buzzer if you don't see the display when positioning the sensor, a bright red light as an additional warning. The battery seems to be usable. The sensor quality is also good. This model is more expensive than the base units, but it ticks all of my boxes. Worked great. Using the digital display, I was able to see warning signs of gas. I then tracked down the cause and received a satisfying beep, vibration and flashing red light indicating the location of the damage. It saved me a lot of time, frustration and money. Worth every penny.
