I bought larger containers to make salads for my husband. I've made things with a mason jar before, but this container is way better. Everything is perfect for a hearty salad, including the perfect sized dressing cup. It's easy to clean, but don't put the inserts on the bottom shelf of the dishwasher (oops! My three are slightly warped, but they're fine). When you remove the liner and add the salad dressing to the bowl, there is enough room at the top for the dressing to coat evenly when you close the lid and shake. For the price it couldn't be better!
