I have thick, straight, greasy hair. Getting my hair in order was a voyage of discovery for combs. This brush is the perfect combination of a wide toothed comb and a wide flat brush. It does an excellent job of detangling knots and removing dead hair. It glides through hair like butter, won't pull or stick to wet hair. It's so easy to clean and keep clean! I'm a cleaning freak and have used traditional brushes with little balls on the ends to remove lint. With this brush I don't have to spend too much time on it. The hair comes off easily and when there is a build up of oil/dirt I wash with warm soap and water. I will definitely gift this to a friend or family member who loves taking care of their hair.
