So far I like the set of wooden combs that came with the kit. The comb's teeth are cut to have a wide base at the handle and taper towards the top, which gives me hope that with careful handling they're not likely to break. One complaint is that the flat brush arrived with two broken bristles. After looking at the box it was in, I concluded that the box's hinged lid was pressed against the paddle brush as the worker was packing the set, causing the two bristles at the top to break in half. The paddle brush fits snugly in the box, leaving about a quarter inch for protruding bristles. Perhaps the company could lengthen the box a bit, or change the packaging process to store the flat brush in the cloth pouch that comes with it. I won't take care of the return as it looks like the packaging design. a bug that may come back, but I'm going to sand down two broken bristles so I can use a flat brush without worrying about scratching my scalp.
