Review on Spektrum Smart S150 AC/DC RC Battery Charger (LiPo, LiIon, LiHV), 1X50W: SPMXC1070 by Jason Mulah

Based on other reviews I got a bad unit. It is small and easy to use. Just plug in the Smart battery and it does its thing. Until it doesn't. After the first few uses which worked great it refused to charge a G2 Smart battery. Just sat there with the white LiPo light on and the charge current light on. No automatic charging started. waited and waited. nothing. reconnected everything - nothing. changed charge rates nothing. Tried treating it as a non-Smart battery and double clicked the button and the battery indicator went completely green and it said the battery was fully charged. My Spektrum XBC100 confirmed the battery was drained. For my G1 battery it does the fake fully charged alert without just sitting around. Voltage confirmed as 11.5V and not charged as the S150 claims. Shame. It was good but I am returning it as it doesn't work now. Have seen another review with the same problem so it may be a QC issue. Both batteries charge normally on a different Spektrum charger.
