Review on Black Decker F976 Quickpress Technology by Timothy Richmond

I am disappointed in this iron and expected more from Black and Decker. First, the place where water is poured into the iron is an open slot. There is no lid, so the iron tends to spit out of this hole. Next, the highest function is not as hot as other irons. It works, does its job, but not as fast as a hotter iron with a lid on the water compartment. The steam function seems to be weak. I will use it as a backup and go back to my favorite shark. Unfortunately, these swivel cords are prone to short circuits, which is what happened to my shark. The fact that the cable can be rotated at the point of insertion seems like good technology, but this is a shortcoming that quickly becomes a problem with a short circuit after a few uses.
