Looks solid but not universal.
I received the item well packaged. There were no instructions included. I've replaced them in the past so I didn't need them. It didn't fit the base of my chair. My bowel movements are very frequent. I have replaced several of these cylinders in a number of my chairs over the last 15 years (they are all the same design by Staples). I took off a star because the description says "universal" and it doesn't go with a regular chair.
- One size: outer cylinder: 2.0", inner cylinder: 1.1". Fits base with 50mm diameter center hole, fits most drafting chairs, office and salon chairs, executive chairs, office chairs, rolling stools, saddle stools. Warming: Please make sure the gas cylinder is the right size for your chair or stool.
