I fitted this to my mini bike on a Predator 212 straight tube and it will definitely save you from burns if you accidentally touch it. It also cools down quickly, so I was able to touch the exhaust shortly after the engine was running. I soaked mine for about an hour before using. Be sure to wear gloves and long sleeves when wrapping it, if the fibers touch your skin before they are baked they will irritate your skin. Itching doesn't seem to be a problem after the foil has baked on the exhaust.
