My cat jumps when I put them on. Literally just right in the air to move. He really doesn't like it. So it's hard to tell if it's comfortable and/or restricts movement because he just doesn't like it. I've put it on many times and if I left it on for a while it would walk, but most of the time it would walk backwards as if hoping to get out of it. However, I will say that I trust the suspension. I have a small cat (13lbs) and I can grab him by the harness if he's in danger on the street and it won't hurt him and he will stay in it. I will continue to use him and hope he adapts especially as he really wants to go outside but where I live it is not safe for him to walk off the leash.
