Looks well made. Installation is easy. If I could make a suggestion, I'd suggest putting the whole thing in a steel case like Progressive Industries' automatic switches instead of plastic. Apart from this small suggestion, everything is tip-top. Great company (very responsive to inquiries etc). Another disadvantage is that the Honda alternator does not run through this surge protector. Instead of telling me if the protection won't hurt if I just turn it off so I can use the Honda, they're trying to sell a bypass kit. Just answer the damn question. Geeszch.PS: So far I haven't had a problem turning it off when using a Honda. Update: I would like to give this company six stars. The siphon in the sink failed and water entered the unit. The block failed as expected. Progressive Industries was more than happy to send me a new motherboard for free, although it wasn't their fault. Amazing company!
