If you use transforming darts to play with both plastic tip and steel tip darts, these are a must! Forget all-metal conversion tips, they upset the balance of the lighter 14/16g tungsten darts. Not only do these tips keep the right balance when you switch between plastic and steel, but you'll see that the amount of "jumping" is drastically reduced when using these tips. While I was averaging a dart or two per game (sometimes more) with hard steel tips, I was getting a rebound or two per SEASON with them. A big advantage is a few extra darts per match. I'm just an average player so of course ymmv.
