I used this as a "fur" trim on a viking helmet piñata I made. I was expecting it to be solid silver and was surprised that there were actually many small black pieces alongside the larger silver pieces. It actually worked great for me because it looked more like a fur trim. But for those who use it for Christmas decorations, I think it will be less attractive. The pieces were of good quality, they were easy to cut to the length needed, and they were easy to hot glue without melting. It was also durable when many grown men hit the piñata - we didn't lose a single plastic rim! Anyone who likes blackish tones will be very happy with this product.
