The item came with defective parts and parts that were not properly assembled and pre-drilled. The second floor base is pre-assembled and glued between the front and rear guide posts. In this part there are slots into which partitions are inserted. When assembling it was clear that this piece was glued from back to front. At first I thought I did something wrong, but before shipping it was obviously not assembled properly. Other parts were even missing pre-drilled holes. If I were to read this review, I would immediately say that this is user error, but believe me, in this situation it was not. To make matters worse, it was a present for my daughter for Christmas. Meeting on Christmas Eve to find out there was nothing you could do to solve the problem was heartbreaking.
