Review on Vintage Handicraft Resin Sculpture: LED-Lit Christmas Tree with Snowman | Indoor Tabletop Decorations by Vanessa Johnson

All in all, this LED light up resin sculpture Snowman Christmas Tree can't be overstated. It has its positive sides, but it also has its negative sides. At first glance, this snowman decoration is simply adorable! However, upon closer inspection, there are issues that prevent this product from earning 5 stars! Here are my thoughts and observations: Pros: • On the plus side, I like the lighting options which can be lit with the included USB cable which is perfect for my desk or I can put in 3 AAA batteries (not included) and place it anywhere. Cons: • The light is too bright, distracting and overwhelming. "Sculpture" looks better with the lights off as I can't see any features of this decoration when the lights are on. In fact, I can't even look at it! • On closer inspection, the painting looks sloppy and unfinished. For example – and there are many! - There is no clear boundary between the snowman and the tree, and there are areas of the tree that are painted white that shouldn't be there. • The buttons on the snowman's jacket are badly colored. Although buttons should be round, they are not drawn that way. • The snowman's face looks cracked on the left side, but it just doesn't render well. • There are some cobwebs and drops of glue from the lights. This is annoying and a bit tedious, but the bars can be removed, but not the marbles. So it's such a cute idea (and still adorable at first glance!) but with sloppy paintwork and overly bright lights. , it's a bit poorly executed and disappointing. It just lacks attention to detail. However, it was only $20.99 at the time I got it, so if I could somehow dim the overly bright lights (but I don't have to!) it would make a nice addition to my desk too, but it won't mar.
