I have a 2004 Honda Odyssey - it needs something other than the useless cup holders and tray that came with the van. I take a quick look around. and got this console because it has proven to be the best in design and utility. The console is well made, I have no complaints - it's a lot better than the molded plastic options out there. The coasters haven't spilled a drink yet - I've had this installed for months. I could squeeze this console next to the storage tray when folded against the passenger seat - I just thought it looked half-baked. I took a ratchet and pulled the tray out, along with handles, wrappers and 10 year old fries that found their place in the tray mount. The Odyssey has a riser that runs across the floor, allowing this console to swing forward. over it again. This will be the case regardless of the console I choose. I still have some 1" lumber left over from other projects so I put it under the front and back of the console. This evened out the difference in height so I used a marker to draw the outline of the console on the two pieces. 1- inch board and then I cut them out. I even drew them - why go halfway here? The underside of the console is plywood covered in felt, but it wasn't hard to put a few screws through the 1- Getting inch risers into the underside of the console - they don't protrude in. Now when the console is upright it drives fine, it centers between the seats, the covers open and sure as factory two armrests fit between the seats. Your manhood (your mileage may vary.) Regardless of the rights someone is bragging about, so the smallest size isn't very appropriate for a beverage container. "Clicks" or adjustments. Sometimes I adjusted the holder and the drink doesn't fit - I open the dial, put my drink in and then close the dial. It works well, just a minor annoyance for an otherwise well-made console. I would like the inner compartments to have special places for sunglasses or even a charging port - or maybe a lamp? But it's not part of what was advertised so I can't dock it because I'm not there. The interior compartments are quite roomy - I now hold a whole roll of paper towels upright in one (I have kids). Overall I'm happy with the console, it suits our interior well and is a big improvement over the standard. Melody.
