Review on Shoreline Marine Accent Light Blue by Kevin Taharka

I know it's cheap but there must be better options. The light isn't very bright. I know it's just a courtesy light, but the output was lower than I expected. In fact I took a picture of the light with my phone at night and the flash on my phone washed it out completely and you couldn't even see in the picture that the light was on. The wires were in the opposite direction. Black is hot and white is earthy. Of course I connected them both before testing them, so I had to reassemble both. The biggest problem I had is the "shape" of the light they emit. The lens has two enlarged parts. It doesn't just emit an even beam of light like a single LED without a lens would. It emits light and leaves a trapezoidal dark area directly in front of the light source. And it's getting better. the area around the dark trapezium is colored yellow. very yellow. So I take them off and replace them with strips. They give off light when you plug them in backwards, but I'm not going to put up with an uneven crappy beam.
