I have a 2020 Ford Fusion that already has a digital output for the dashboard. I don't know if it helped or not, but for me it was plug and play. Kilometers per hour and engine speed were perfectly matched right from the start. As others have said, some of the bad reviews are from people with incompatible cars. So make sure you have the correct digital connector to connect. If you are compatible, this thing works amazing! Projection is pin-sharp and even without reflective film, the double image isn't as bad as some say.
