I am in the process of converting an electric golf cart to a gas golf cart. I bought this "Calm Max Go Cart" torque converter for a project. I was having issues, I wrote a review to reflect them and the manufacturer contacted me and gave me a new unit for free. I didn't ask, they took the initiative. Apparently these guys care about their reputation! It's nice to know that if something goes wrong, you won't be left in the lurch. If you find yourself in a similar situation, this company will do the right thing. Buyer Tips: Make sure the threads match the desired motor, fine threads (24 vs. 20 threads per inch) are required to mount the Predator 69730 and the end of the crank. NAPA sells them for less than $2 if you can't find them in your gear set. Do not attempt to use incorrectly threaded screws. Check the alignment of the pulley surfaces at a 2.5 degree angle with a straightedge, use shims if necessary to achieve perfect belt alignment. Vibration when turning should be minimal. If this is not the case, contact the manufacturer for immediate help.
